EG showed its support for The Helmsman Project at the 2016 inaugural charity dinner aboard Sydney’s tall ship, the James Craig.
Michael Easson and Mary Easson, were joined by EG’s own sailing aficionado Grant Flannigan and his wife, Nicola Hart – along with over 100 guests and supporters of the cause.
A total of $65,000 was raised for The Helmsman Project, which meant a further 18 young people had the opportunity to be part of the life-changing program.
The Helmsman Project aims to equip teenagers from schools located in lower socio-economic areas with the psychological skills and broadened perspective necessary to set meaningful goals, overcome setbacks and persevere in the pursuit of their dreams.
