Now part of the global ‘One Sky for all children’, Half the Sky was created when Jenny and her husband Richard, chose to adopt a toddler from an orphanage in China.
In 1998, named in honour of the many little girls, like their newly adopted daughter, who had lost their families and inspired by the Chinese adage: “Women hold up half the sky”, Half the Sky was born.
