An Executive Director and a key figure of our investment and Executive committees, Mark brings more than 30 years of real estate funds management experience to EG. His years investing in real estate in Australia, UK, Europe and Asia has meant he had been responsible for over AU$4 billion of office industrial and retail transactions.
Mark has been directly involved with the HISOT Fund since its original inception in 2016 and chairs its Investment Committee.
Prior to joining the team at EG, Mark was Head of Funds Management at DEXUS. He has also held fund and asset management roles with the likes of Lend Lease and GBT and was former chairman of an Asian property investment company.
Mark’s real estate investment experience spans from Asia to Australia, Europe to the UK. In the last 12 years, Mark has been responsible for more than A$4bn of transactions. While raising equity from investors in Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, Mark successfully grew a funds management business from A$4.5bn to over A$6.0bn.
Mark is passionate about acquiring and sharing knowledge and mentoring. Inside of EG, he is a keen advocate for younger team members and affectionally know as our ‘adopted millennial’ he is always going above and beyond to share an anecdote or two, answer other’s questions or challenge his colleagues with his trivia questions.
Mark also dedicates his time as Chairman of Bridge Housing, a not-for-profit community housing provider with a mission is to improve lives and strengthen communities through the provision of housing and services for low to moderate income households.
A graduate of the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom, Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Land Administration, is a licensed real estate agent in New South Wales and is a member of RICS Oceania.
