(Sydney, Australia) EG Development Management (EG), one of Australia’s leading real estate development managers, has successfully obtained development consent for high-quality residential apartments at the Queen Street, Auburn property.

The approval comprises 12 buildings with 595 residential apartments including basement parking, landscaping and public domain works.

“The proposed Queen St. property features architecturally designed residences of exceptional quality and liveability, delivering the best of contemporary urban design,” Development Director Grant Flannigan said. “We are particularly pleased to be able to offer landscaped communal spaces within the site, something highly sought-after in the Auburn community,” he continued.

The Queen St. development will create over 1,400sqm of new publicly accessible landscaped space, including three public parks for the community to enjoy; providing seating, recreational space and playground equipment to encourage a socially sustainable community.

In addition, the local Auburn community will benefit from significant investment in local infrastructure with the construction of new roundabouts to improve traffic flow in the local streets.

“We saw this opportunity to enhance the Auburn community 10 years ago and are pleased to see this come to fruition,” Adam Geha, EG CEO commented.

EG is dedicated to creating sustainable and cohesive urban spaces in partnership with leading architects, engineers and construction experts and have been working on the rezoning and DA for this site since 2008.

Mr Flannigan said, “We look forward to launching the apartments for presales and delivering a great community similar to the recently completed projects in Summer Hill, Drummoyne and Five Dock.”
