EG has become the newest member of the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC), demonstrating a commitment to the global discussion on climate change and low carbon investing.

AIGCC is an initiative to create awareness among Asia’s asset owners and financial institutions about the risks and opportunities associated with climate change and low carbon investing. AIGCC is one of several key working groups under the Global Investor Coalition on Climate Change (GIC) with partnerships in Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

EG is excited to join investors from across the region in the conversation on best practice investment activity and collaboration opportunities.

“As real estate investors and developers, we understand we have a responsibility to embrace sustainable methods, enrich communities and invest responsibly,” said Michael Noblet, Associate Director, EG. “This requires us to engage in robust discussions with our peers and stakeholders about best practice, place-making and risk management strategies”.

EG strives to lead the way on impact investing. EG’s High Income Sustainable Office Trust (HISOT) was launched in 2016 with a focus on acquiring office assets that can benefit from active asset management and sustainability strategies to deliver attractive risk adjusted returns for our investors.

“We are looking forward to attending the AIGCC forums and continuing the discussion with our industry peers”.
