Stephen Rich

Steve joins the EG team with more than 20 years’ experience working in private and public real estate capital markets across Australia, Asia and Europe.
 
Steve commenced his career with 12 years at top-tier globalinvestment banks (Credit Suisse, UBS and Deutsche Bank) analysing a ~$100 billion universe of leading publicly listed real estate operators and their investments across a broad range of sectors and geographies, globally.
 
Since 2016, Steve has raised $7 billion of capital for diverse strategies across the Americas, Europe and AsiaPac, through structures spanning JV’s, clubs and funds.  In Hong Kong for five years with M3 Capital Partners, Steve had responsibilities for both principal investment activity in Australia and capital raising for major client, Global Logistic Properties (GLP), globally.  Returning to Australia, Steve was responsible for Novus Living’s $450 million BTR vehicle formation and capital raise, establishing Novus as an early mover in the emerging Australian multifamily sector.
 
Steve applies a strategic lens to EG’s investment, business development and capital raising processes to facilitate access to Australian real estate opportunities for institutional capital.
