In the prized eastern heart of Newcastle’s CBD, this remarkable building combines vibrant city life, spectacular outlooks and uplifting landscapes with beautifully finished living spaces.
The Herald Apartments celebrates the restoration of a local landmark rebirthed as heritage commercial tenancies and 116 residential apartments in a contemporary setting. The development celebrated the expansive harbour and ocean views.
Designed by multi-award-winning international architects Fender Katsalidis Architects, this property development is one of the few large-scale development opportunities in Newcastle East End. The project included the heritage restoration of the historic Newcastle Herald newspaper headquarters that have served Newcastle since 1876.
Delivering a high-quality project vision requires local knowledge. Inviting independently-owned Newcastle developer, Stronach, to partner in the project was a vital decision bringing more than 90 years of experience to the finest details of construction.
Located just 500 metres from Newcastle Beach, Herald Apartments are a ‘stroll-to-everywhere’. In just a few minutes walk, residents can be basking by sand-fringed Pacific Ocean surf, paddling with the kids in shallow rock pools, riding a wave, or taking leisurely laps of historic ocean baths.
