EG is excited to announce that two members of our Developments team have been appointed to serve on committees with the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) in NSW.

Development Director Grant Flannigan will bring more than thirty years of experience and vision in property development and project management to his service on the Urban Development Committee in 2020.  Most recently, Grant led the EG Developments team in delivering the multi-award-winning Flour Mill of Summer Hill. With a passion to develop self-sustaining and well-connected communities that support mental health and drive business culture, Grant will play a key role in advocating for innovation and urban renewal across NSW cities.

Joining Grant in his advocacy, Development Manager Pishoy Gobran will lend his voice to the UDIA’s Young Leaders Committee for 2020. Having actively managed several of EG’s developments across all stages of their lifecycle, Pishoy is fast emerging as a future leader of the industry. His forward-thinking has also seen him play a pivotal role in launching EG’s Future Calling series, a cross-industry networking event designed to ask the big questions about designing, building, developing and investing in the future built environment.

EG CEO, Adam Geha commented, “I’m pleased to see Grant and Pishoy are have been recognised as valuable contributors to the industry.”

UDIA NSW is the state’s leading development industry body, representing more than 500 member companies and agencies across the public and private sector. These include councils, state government departments, academics, lawyers, engineers and developers. With just a handful of industry leaders from across the state chosen to sit on the committee panel, EG is delighted to have two of our own celebrated for their efforts.
