EG joins the Green Building Council of Australia

EG is pleased to share that we are now a member of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), an organisation that brings together more than 600 companies committed to driving sustainable transformation across the built environment.

This membership further strengthens EG’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and active asset management — an approach powered by Avani, a data intelligence platform that enables smarter, more sustainable investment decisions, and the Little BIG Foundation, which drives positive social impact within our communities. Together, these initiatives allow EG to measure, manage and amplify our environmental and social outcomes across every project we deliver. Joining GBCA complements this framework by providing access to collective knowledge and best practices that will continue to shape how we deliver value through sustainable growth.

Through GBCA, we gain access to current industry knowledge, tools and resources that help inform and enhance our work — including insights on leading building standards, sustainability guidelines and sector-wide research. These materials will help ensure we remain informed about the evolving landscape of sustainability in the property sector.

Being part of this network also offers opportunities to connect with like-minded organisations working toward healthier, more resilient and future-focused places. These relationships, alongside access to GBCA training and professional development programs, support us in continuing to build capability across our team. It also allows us to engage in ongoing conversations shaping how the built environment responds to environmental challenges and community needs.

We look forward to contributing to this community of practitioners working to advance sustainability across Australia’s property sector, and to learning from the shared knowledge and experience within the GBCA network.
