The asset will benefit from the uplift in energy savings and active asset management strategy.
The High Income Sustainable Office Trust (HISOT) is an ethical investment philosophy that targets commercial returns in conjunction with improving energy efficiency. HISOT targets core plus returns by acquiring Australian office assets with the opportunity to add value through active asset management. The fund has a focus on improving NABERS energy ratings to 4.5 stars through operational and commercially viable CapEx investment.
Asset selection is supported by the use of EG’s proprietary real estate risk management software, PRISMS®. This software is designed to substantially improve investment risk identification, evaluation and pricing.
HISOT was launched in 2016 and is supported by investors such as the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), Uniting Financial Services and Deakin University among others. In 2019, the Fund welcomed Tasplan Superannuation Fund promoting further commitments from the cornerstone investors.
