EG Promotes Sean Fleming to Head of Capital Transactions

EG is pleased to announce Associate Director, Sean Fleming, has been promoted to Head of Capital Transactions.

Since 2006, Sean has played an integral role in over $1bn of acquisitions for EG’s funds and mandates. Working across a range of strategies, Sean’s deal sourcing is driven by professionalism and precision to see the big picture accomplished.

Sean has over a decade of experience at EG working in various roles throughout the Capital Transaction functions. He is integrally involved in sourcing and securing deals, ensuring EG elevates real estate to its highest and best use to maximise return for investors.

Sean returned to EG in 2015 after a brief period working with the Mair Group in Perth where he was responsible for both capital transactions and asset management within the company’s syndications and trusts.

2020 remains a fast-paced year for EG securing four acquisitions in excess of $100 million, the launch of the GIC Mandate (a $400 million mandate) and the Private Wealth division (targeting $200 million in gross asset value in the next 12 months). Sean has played an integral role in each of these achievements.

“Sean has been with EG for over 10 years and will be a capable leader of EG’s outstanding capital transactions team given his experience, network and relentless drive,” said CEO Adam Geha.

Founded in 2000, EG is investing $3.2 billion in real estate on behalf of super funds and private wealth clients to generate outstanding returns with lasting social impact. With $4.3 billion in development pipeline, and 16.7% per annum in realised IRR for institutional funds, EG is committed to finding a better path to better returns.
